Tween Michael completely missed what The Simpsons was saying with Flaming Moe's.

I'm the parent at school pickup who is simultaneously thinking, "Why is no one talking to me?" and "Please, no one talk to me" while doomscrolling on my phone.

And neither group will ever fully understand the other.

There are two kinds of people in this world. People who have (or strive for) inbox zero, and people with five-digit (or more!) unread emails, and never the twain shall meet.

What's your go-to mid-afternoon snack?

I much prefer Viet coffee over scarlet steers.

I normally don't get the jitters from drinking coffee, but I do when drinking Vietnamese iced coffee (cà phê sữa đá). Is it the sugar in the condensed milk, maybe? I don't think the coffee itself is any stronger than conventional espresso.

Pet peeve: People who complain about their pet peeves on the internet but don't actually do anything about them IRL. Oh wait...

Pet peeve: When people park on the wrong side of the street when there are plentiful spots on the right side.

Pet peeve: When bus passengers don't immediately offer the courtesy seat to seniors, people with mobility challenges, etc.
