Finished Queer Georgians. Cried at least a dozen times. Highly recommend.

It's been so long since I finished a Real Actual Novel that now that I'm approaching the end of this one I feel like reality is melting around me 🙃

Picked up a plastic spider on my walk this morning & left it on my open notebook when I came in and have jumpscared myself twice as a result.

I'm three minutes into Queer Georgians and my eyes are already alight with delight as the author explains his approach. So excited for this.

It's too hot to think but handily writing does not involve any thinking and I've still put 800 words into this manuscript while lying down and fantasising about being on the crew of the HMS Terror as a preferable alternative to the heat.

Today I have fallen into the 20ft deep "do I really need [medically necessary thing] or am I just a big ol' faker?" hole and hit the rock-carved sides a dozen times on the way down 🙃

Amongst the myriad joys of having ADHD is the capacity to become briefly intensely passionate about a new activity.
