Excellence Strategy Funds Bonn Cluster for Immune Research The Bonn Cluster of Excellence ImmunoSensation will be funded for a further seven years as part of the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state…

Hurray! ImmunoSensation will go on! πŸ₯³
The @dfg.de just announced that ImmunoSensation3, focussing on Immune Diversity will be funded!
Let us #celebrate 7 more years of #immunology in #Bonn πŸŽ‰

A landmark success! The University of Bonn secured funding for all six existing Clusters of Excellence and both new initiatives – more than any other German university. More: www.uni-bonn.de/en/news/095-...

Thanks to @biancabroske.bsky.social , @scbinder.bsky.social , @tim-kempchen.bsky.social and all the other authors for a fantastic collaboration. A big thank you goes to the developers of #RFdiffusion, #Chroma, #Bindcraft and others to make these amazing algorithms available.

We created a number of high affinitiy and highly specific #AI-Binders against several cancer surface proteins and converted them into easy to use #FACS reagents that we termed #Quattrobinders.

In close collaboration with the @mholzel-lab.bsky.social and @jsb-lab.bsky.social labs, we setup a scaleable AI-Binder design and validation pipeline.

When we saw the first tweats about #RFdiffusion and #Chroma, we wanted to try if we can apply these tools to our own research.
Have a look at our preprint and learn what worked out of the box and what didn't.
