The 1990s adoption of neoliberalism by the centre left really ought to be seen for what it is: the successful capture of liberal politics by what is straightforwardly a eugenicist, far-right ideology. It's just that almost no one did the reading.

Great stuff and I’d add that I *hate* being told things - yes this is a character flaw but here we are. I want to find thing not be told things. AGI is the epitome of the tell vs show cliché and thus its great advantage (it’s all ‘tell’) and it’s great flaw - where’s the fun in always being told?
