I give the dropped leaves to my cat to get high, to that’s also an option if you have one!

Broccoli? Yes. Spider plants? No.

When it’s pale it means it needs water. If you can catch it before then great (soil will be dry before the leaves turn pale), but they’re pretty forgiving if you’re later on it!

I cut it up smaller just because of preference and ease of cooking but the amount you have to rotate and the mess it makes drives me nuts! Worth it though, it is delicious

It’s salvageable. Cut off the all the dead leaves and put it next to a window. When the leaves are pale like that it needs more water, that’s a sign I use on mine all the time!
