The concept of becoming successful doing what I love seems impossible to me

I keep trying to find ways to replicate what others have done, wishing I could create something a fraction as impactful

I just can't

I just wanted to be happy & to make others happy. Instead I find only struggle & failure

I used to have things to offer to certain groups. I was creative, an artist, a musician, someone who shared their talents bc it was fun

But it feels like I'm not able to do that anymore. The wholesome joy of simply creating is gone. Its all about survival now. Art for its own sake feels pointless

Not bc I lost my car, but bc she was a car that I named, humanized, and cared about like a good friend

She supported me, got me to my appts, & probably saved my life, sacrificing herself in the process.

It wasn't just a car. Her name was Leia. Named after a blink 182 song about Star Wars from the album that came out when she was made (I thought she was a 97 Camry but she was made in 96)

Bumping this. I really need a car to survive. This is a scary situation made worse by the prospect of falling behind so much I can't catch up.

Just to be clear, I wasn't under the influence of anything. I was Doordashing on a long, mostly straight road late at night & I chose the worst possible moment to end my Dash, bc I didn't see the approaching 90 degree turn until it was too late.

No one else was involved. Just me, the ditch & a tree

So I crashed my car about a week ago... 😔

Luckily I didn't get seriously injured, but now I have no car & I'm a Doordash driver so now I can't make money. 😭

Absolutely agree. It's sickening. Our govt, our society is anti-poor and it sucks that this is even a necessary thing just to live.

I got enough for rent! A good friend came to my rescue (my guardian angel 😇) and I avoided the wood chipper once again

Now I gotta get my car running and get to earning next month's rent 😳😣

Its ok, I'm just relieved and thankful to make it out of this. Another chance to fix my shit.

No seriously. My car died last night while on a Dash. It's sitting in a parking lot 40 min away now.

Without a car I cannot work. I already couldn't pay rent and now I have to fix my car too😭

But I have to focus on rent first. I have to avoid eviction- then worry about the car & NEXT month's rent😞

I have been trying so hard to catch up this month. I've Doordashed my butt off to pay on past bills, this month's bills, gas/food/essentials-
