Annoyed in general at the overall trend of giving characters multiple cards in the same release as it bogs down communication. "Oh the new Zurgo is really cool" "main set Zurgo or commander Zurgo?" you get it. If you MUST do it then they should for sure be like this ("baby Tannuk" and "big Tannuk")

wow this card is super flavorful! in the show sokka has no bending ability but still finds ways to support his friends that do, and here his card has no triggered abilities yet supports your cards that have them.

the story articles for #MTGEternities are FULL of awesome lore drops, but i wanted to highlight this one in particular. "mallowmass" is like codifying likes on social media as an actual currency, especially the part about "registered in public". helping people in private gives no clout & no money.

the relationship between kris deltarune and the soul is so fuckin funny to me, one second we're working together just fine and next thing i know they're hitting me with a hockey stick. i hope in ch5 we fix their parents' marriage and they pay us back by putting us in the microwave

without critique, magic is explicitly entrenching itself as a collectible over anything else. commander is collectible: the card game. UB is a collectible with bonus rules text (see: pokémon). sales prices reflect goals (see: pokémon). understand the game's future and decide what you want from it.

dunno if id call them "deep cut", but The Gitrog Monster's side story from SOI was one of the first that really hooked me on mtg story and id like to see Wilbur and Mia show up on a card someday. hopefully as a flashback to before they got Gitrog'd, but id take evil mia too.

Super weird commander card. Reads to me like you want to go voltron to get as many cards as possible, but voltron too hard and you'll get no cards because you dealt over 21 damage. It's like Sultai blackjack. #MTGTarkir
