Mana value is such a powerful design tool that we couldn't keep this limitation for rares and mythics that had specific constructed goals. (And yes, I was reminded to make this post after watching @lsv.bsky.social almost cast a 2-brid card off of his 4 power Kotis.)

I spent this morning teaching someone how to play Magic with the Foundations Beginner Box, and this is my takeaway:

This product is probably one of THE best ways to teach Magic. From the info pamphlet to the card selection, I got to see someone connect the dots (and be excited about it too).
