A book. Goebbels & ‘Total War’: The Sports Palace Speech of 1943. Peter Longerich, Oxford University Press 2025.
#histbookchat. Saw this slim tome off the plot this afternoon. Katja Hoyer mentioned the speech at either WHWF Drei or Vier and thought I’d like to learn a bit more. Interesting book about a notorious speech. Some surprises, for me anyway.
