I read The Girl in a Swing many year ago and enjoyed it. The novel has a supernatural element to it which I liked. I can’t remember much about it now except that I found the climax to be genuinely disturbing.

I love Christmas Eve night. There’s hardly any traffic on the roads, everything closes early and a peace descends. I’m

Wallace and Gromit are on the front cover of the Christmas Radio Times for the second year in a row. I do like them, but the lack of imagination from the RT symbolises in a very small, insignificant way where we are these days.
