A motion by Conservative MSP Tess White heaping praise on a bullshit report by the misleadingly named "LGB Alliance" which claims to find, amongst other things, that LGB people don't like being included with trans people.

A summary of the reports methodolgy which shows it just asked its own members.

We're now at a point where MSPs are lodging complete and utter bollocks at Holyrood as part of the wider campaign against trans people. The report this MSP wants to welcome is complete pish, rooted in the so-called "LGB Alliance" *asking their own supporters* views. It represents nobody but them.

One of the more pernicious results of the anti-trans turn British society has taken recently is the normalisation of "alarm or distress" as something one should always be protected from. Of course there are times when the state should prevent discomfort, but they are rare.

This whole story is the perfect summation of the anti-trans panic. A trans person (if they were even trans!) dares to exist in a public setting. A bigot makes an insane complaint. The press and GC public figures loudly portray the trans person as dangerous. And that's the message the public here.
