In 2023, we brought "The Breakup of Britain?" to Edinburgh to discuss the UK's democratic crisis.

We are now fast approaching the Holyrood elections and that crisis is a reality for communities the length and breadth of Scotland. They are scunnered by the current system and desperate for change.

In November 2023, we gathered more than 700 people together at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh to debate and discuss the UK's democratic crisis. Inspired by the late Tom Nairn, we brought together politicians, poets, academics, commentators and citizens to ask: What comes next?
