The Brooklyn library has analog-to-digital conversion tech that you can reserve. It also allows any teen in the country to access its eBooks, bypassing their local book bans. Gives me pride in my hometown.

I was so sad when customization initially excluded mutants on #neopets. I repainted my beloved mutant Ruki on my old, now lost, account so she could be dressed up. Now, I have NC traded and NP grinded my way to making this boy the cutest he could be. I'm still seeking one NC item for him, though.

This reminded me of the chunky hand-me-down cassette walkman I had in the 2000s. It was a tough device and likely still works fine. I'll add that the clunk of the buttons is something missing these days too.
