Sorry you feel this way but the data shows that along the stretch of LWB where the speed cushions were installed, traffic has slowed.

Incredible what happens when cities build infrastructure for bikes, scooters, and pedestrians. People use new modes and ditch cars.

Just a few weeks ago I was riding on LWB with half a dozen folks on bikes for a pre-ride for @seattle.bikedis.co and we got passed by a Rivian at something like 70 mph? We had to pull our bikes off the road and check that everyone was okay and take a breather. 🤢 Y'all could fix this shit any time. 🫠

Great! Let’s start with SDOT’s decision to cancel the remaining speed cushions along Lake Washington Boulevard! Why did you take that action despite overwhelming data that 1) cars speed (by a lot) down that road, 2) speed cushions slow down cars (by a lot)!
