I get it, 'small scale'. I thought the 1672 Dutch Wars and the Seven Years War tables were superb, along with the Robin Hood one, and the Perry's Napoleonic one, and also Barry Hilton's table. Phew! 🤩

Sounds a bit like WAB with the hero element. Can it be easily removed/ignored? Or is it central to the way the game plays? By your reply, it sounds like it might be difficult to remove, or not worth the bother, i.e. easier to play a less 'heroic' system.
