A federal judge has said using AI in law enforcement reports can lead to inaccuracies and erode trust. With my bill SB 524 signed into law, California will require disclosures if AI was used in law enforcement reports, improving accuracy & accountability.

The fact that the FBI had to issue a bulletin calling on ICE to identify themselves shows why we need laws like SB 627 to protect the public and promote transparency and accountability.

As Trump mimics Marie Antoinette hosting luxury dinners, he can't stand the fact that the courts are stopping him from starving tens of millions of Americans. Trump's cruelty knows no bounds. California will make sure that CalFresh recipients get their benefits in full.

The shutdown is not stopping Congress from threatening states' rights while harming public safety. H.R. 38, the Concealed Carry Mandate, would let people from other states ignore state laws and carry guns without a permit. I call on Congress to oppose this dangerous legislation.

Dozens of East Bay residents, including my office, volunteered at the @accfb.bsky.social today. I am inspired to see so many people step up and give their time to support those in need. This is what community looks like.
