Turns out some of the “we want small government” people kiiiinda wanted the government to be just one guy.

Interestingly, this is my attitude toward any breakup I've ever had, including one that went REALLY bad (i.e. she cheated on me). I still want all of my exes to be happy, even if that's not with me. I hope they all are, even if they've hurt me in the past.

Like everything else having to do with these types of conservatives, I think that literally the only thing that will change their minds is when something happens to THEM. If the "I regret voting for Trump" posts are any indication, it's the only thing that'll get to them.

It still absolutely baffles me that such a well-loved show would be cancelled. Like it's perfectly written and it's the first real Star Trek show to not take itself so seriously and really poke fun at the universe.

I have a doctor's appointment today and just had to fill out the form that's basically the "are you depressed" form, and now I'm going to laugh when they try to see if I'm a threat to myself, when in fact I'm just bummed out about the damn election
