I got one of these recently. A small family restaurant. We had a gift certificate. I tipped based on the total bill, not the bill minus the gift certificate. Thought it was weird that overtipping was a concern of the bank.

There was a video going around of a pizza shop owner throwing the pizza at a poorly behaved customer that looked like Portnoy. Portnoy denies it was him. But I want to believe.

I don't know if that's true anymore. Real newspapers have a limited scope, the erosion of local news means that the bar for stuff to get reported on is quite high, and I see stuff on TikTok all of the time that people is saying is happening in their communities that I have no way to verify
