There’s no conversation I’m willing to have with people spouting lies around the COVID vaccine

Not only am I an epidemiologist who SPECIALIZES in infectious diseases, but my 31 y/o brother thought COVID was bullshit too until it put him in a coma for a week before killing him.

I think the book is interesting when it talks about how grifters get on talk shows and overstep expertise but I do feel that looking back he was more upset with the types of people getting into academia.

He wrote a good book called The Death of Expertise but should probably read it himself since I don’t think he’s an expert on sociolinguistics.
