Because i don't make any posts about trans rights/issues. That doesn't mean I am not silent. I'm not so online, like you. I have friends who are transgender and I want them to be treated with dignity and respect. Not have their existence questioned by hateful people.

He is not transphobic and I have personally talked to him about it. You don't know what you're talking about. The New Zealand Labour Party is not the same as the UK Labour Party.

What gets me angry about this is that if Labour proposed this. We will never hear the end of it. Political promises need to be realistic.
