Using supercollider to have some directional sound (via overtone and powered by the ATK lib + some low-pass filtering to create "distance"). Composition is still ugly, but I'm reasonably happy with the "3d sound".

I'm now able to run a JVM (with the Clojure REPL) inside Blender, and this enables fancy pointer sharing as you can see in the video (some people call it unsafe). Let's see how far we can go towards using Blender as a game editor \o
