A little bit sad but it's also freeing in a way. I can let go of the project haunting me for years and see that I can write other things and write them with a lot of fun! I haven't been this on a roll since my fanfic days tbh

Finished The Wandering Inn #1 yesterday

Thankfully I've had very few people in my past who have left truly heinous scars and any others have mostly been. We were young and stupid or huge misunderstandings etc. after reflection. It's just not worth exerting deep loathing for the tiniest things. An open heart has healed better than anything

Learned nothing is more exhausting than living in spite and staying mad at people. Like yeah I can be bitter but it only hurts myself. So I've decided to just be happy that they're happy and living and doing their best because honestly, life's too short. Be happy!! Thrive!! I'll do the same for me!!

FF2 gets two stars because I do think they had me in the first half, ngl. The first half was good! The second half felt like they had no clue what to do with the game and kept dragging it. The final dungeon & boss sucked. I hate Firion as a protagonist. Maria deserved better.

Finished the third Final Fantasy so here's a short review of the first 3 games:
FF1: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfectly fine. You need a walkthrough to play it though
FF2: ⭐⭐ My worst enemy
FF3: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good entry point into older FFs IMO. Can get kind of boring

(Pixel Remaster definitely helped my enjoyment)

The first half of it was perfectly fine and actually really fun and engaging but the latter half I feel like they gave up on basically everything from story to dungeon design and I'm having a terrible time. I'm thinking about dropping it but I'm also determined to see every game through
