Not sure if I’m in the minority here, but I think the sequel is equally as amazing as the first. It’s pretty outrageous but it has some phenomenal stop motion sequences

My dad won one of these shirts for me when you screened Godzilla at the Magic Bag in 95. I was at all three screenings. Wish I still had it. Just moved back to the area and think of NeoTokyo whenever I walk by the old building.

‘Owls Hoot in the Daytime’ might be my favorite Wellman story. I read it the Dark Forces anthology.

A fanned-out stack of six copies of The Maidens of Midnight and Other Lost Media by Rhiannon Rasmussen. The setting looks to be a wooded path in the forest at night. There is a box near the upper right corner that says “UNCORRECTED PROOF — ADVANCE REVIEW COPY."

I actually haven’t read ‘Errata’ yet, so this is exciting to hear.

Titled this ‘Beware the Friendly Stranger’ after the Boards of Canada song of the same name. This can be seen on my instagram account with the song in accompaniment. The music conveyed a sense of the outre that I hoped to achieve visually.

I tend to agree—-if there’s something that connects these movies at all, it’s not actually the alien.

Hard to pick a favorite—-maybe ‘The Forest’ (which is what I based the painting on), but Mysterium Tremendum and The Broadsword are way up there.

I’ve always liked the punched up values for the cover of ‘The Occultation’ but here’s the unedited version, which I think feels less dramatic and more quiet. Some folks probably haven’t seen this version (cropped)
