Fight The Trump Takeover

Find an event on Saturday to protest Trump’s effort to rig electoral maps and steal the 2026 election. Trump’s map takeover is starting in Texas, but it won’t stop there. We’re fighting back nationwide with a day of action this weekend.

The Gestapo would not have happened without the takeover and vertical integration of state and local police under Himmler in 1934. (He was formally made chief of all German police in 1936.)

These are literal Gestapo tactics.

the Home Rule Act and federal law controlling National Guard deployment make this easier in DC than it is in other places, but the sociocultural response to de facto martial law in DC will determine how quickly (and how brutally) they proceed

The worst single-day crime spree in modern Washington history, of course, took place on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump issued no order to the National Guard to intervene -- Mike Pence did -- and later pardoned the perpetrators.

So DC is a sundown town.

This morning, President Trump declared a “public safety emergency” in Washington, DC and deployed the National Guard onto our streets. This is NOT safety. It is an unconstitutional power grab that threatens the rights of DC residents.

The biggest single violent criminal event in DC history was masterminded by and on behalf of Trump who is himself, of course, a convicted felon. The police he today said he would protect and empower were the primary victims of the mass attack he incited.

And the Capitol, and the Supreme Court, and the Pentagon.

It’s also a distraction from the Epstein files.

This is a continuation of what his ultimate plan is, to have a regime not an administration, and to be an authoritarian. There is ZERO evidence or data that justifies him invoking this act. Infact the opposite is present, crime is down in DC compared to last year.

Keep asking Trump about Epstein and Maxwell. I don't care what the topic of the press conference is supposed to be. Ask him. Every time.
