Imleria badia the Bay Bolete, is common in spruce and pine forests and occasionally appears also under oak, beech and chestnut trees. Late summer and autumn is the main season for this good edible bolete, which is comparable in flavour with Boletus edulis, the Cep or Penny Bun, and has the advantage of being less frequently infested with maggots, even when the cap has expanded fully.

Morecambe Library is an architectural statement with its octagonal sides and timber lined ceilings, the result is an open and light space with lots of functionality.

Friday night in the Winter Garden, an old theatre undergoing restoration as a community asset. They need to work on the sound a bit as i found the speaker volume to be just a bit too low where i was sitting. Im sure that eventually they will have a surround system in there with lots of little speakers rather than two stacks on the stage…
