Thread on the role of murkily financed Georgescu campaigning on TikTok and Telegram:
"The Telecoms Regulatory Authority announced that ‘thousands of TikTok accounts worked for Georgescu’ with funding from outside Romania," with influencers vowing they didn't know who they were being paid for.
Since it's highly unlikely the electoral commission (BEC) will manage to do a full recount by tomorrow, experts think they're likely buying time for another postponement or until receive more documents and information from other institutions.
