Every episode of Columbo includes a scene where he tells the killer that his wife is a huge fan of their music, acting, cooking, art, etc.
And then he arrests them for murder.
The whole show is all about Columbo destroying all the things his wife loves. Pure emotional terrorism.

Is anyone outside the EU getting the same message from Meta?

Aaand here we go. Meta is now offering to stop using my info for targeted ads if I pay a mere β¬12.99 a month. The last few months they've been targeting me with content for truckers in the U.S., so not entirely accurate anyway. So, do I pay β¬155 a yr to block ads, or keep scrolling for free?

News item explaining that the Hollywood companies are offering to compensate living actors for scanning their faces for AI< but claim they can reproduce the faces of dead actors at no cost.
"We will probably pay you so we're not technically stealing *your* face, but we will absolutely steal the faces of your beloved dead" is not the winner the AMPTP thinks it is.

Don't let huge goals dissuade you from smaller, attainable ones.
Hard agree. Olivia is the bee's knees, and so are her books.
