Note to self: starting vacation on a Thursday is terrible for Monday work motivation. 😑

All the things! 2 doggos, Commissioner (EOC), DRCA President (round 2). Co-host of #DelRayBourbonClub (c.2021) Views are my own — not the Navy’s.
Note to self: starting vacation on a Thursday is terrible for Monday work motivation. 😑
03.11.2025 15:00 — 👍 5 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s on. #DRBC tonight — let’s say start at 6:30pm. Should be a great night for the solostove.
Have all the mosquitos finally died?
Would anyone be up for an impromptu #DRBC tomorrow night? If we don’t do it this weekend, there won’t be a November date. Because, naturally, Hawai’i.

30.10.2025 02:13 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Then again, civic associations have been inciting staff to meetings since I’ve been involved. And those are typically subject to private invite as a member. Lots to consider.
30.10.2025 02:13 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0I think it is a good story to learn what is expected / required of staff beyond the typical daytime hours and public meeting locations. Electeds holding living room town halls is one thing. But is it permissible/required/even allowed for staff to meet in a private home subject to private invites?
30.10.2025 02:11 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0So what you’re saying is not just any person with a large enough meeting space, rather, only those with a classy bourbon shed should be able to host??
30.10.2025 01:55 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Is this at someone’s house?
DRCA is hosting the city POC at our November meeting to share feedback the city received on design options.
Still hard to believe this has become reality. A few more projects to go, but we’re so close!

Went to the roll call page to look up the nominee and saw this gem.
If Tuberville can’t be bothered to be in Washington to do his job—instead choosing to campaign for governor during a work week—then his state’s nominees shouldn’t be confirmed.
