I was drafting a belated reply of my own to bills letter last night. It did not read like this. 😝

Then again, civic associations have been inciting staff to meetings since I’ve been involved. And those are typically subject to private invite as a member. Lots to consider.

I think it is a good story to learn what is expected / required of staff beyond the typical daytime hours and public meeting locations. Electeds holding living room town halls is one thing. But is it permissible/required/even allowed for staff to meet in a private home subject to private invites?

So what you’re saying is not just any person with a large enough meeting space, rather, only those with a classy bourbon shed should be able to host??
