Im also currently living on a gvt disability allowance, which doesn't leave me with a lot of spending money.

Books range btwn $30-$60NZD (I recently spent $64 at a bookstore {supporting local} on Peter McLean's latest book, though it is hardcover & price included shipping). I have authors I auto buy no matter the price, but as I tend to read a lot of selfpub i have to get them sent from abroad.

I personally didn't think it was brutal - I can barely even remember it to be honest 🙈. I liked Metal From Heaven a LOT. So much so that I bought a physical copy (though I barely have room or $$ for more books due 2 prices in NZ). MCs, WB & plot was excellent - 4.25 star read
