In a massive win for Oregonians’ and Californians’ privacy, two federal courts dismissed the DOJ’s lawsuit seeking access to both states’ unredacted voter registration records.

The judges agreed that states are not obligated to share such data with the government.

I spent the morning at the San Antonio immigration court. It’s out of control.

Crawling with ICE - arresting legal immigrants showing up for court appearances.

I asked one officer who they are prioritizing. His answer: everyone.

I need to share with you what I saw.

Hegseth authorized the National Guard in DC to carry weapons.

This is another escalation that puts DC communities in even more danger.

We should not have armed soldiers patrolling the streets of any U.S. city, let alone our nation’s capital.

Significant portions of Article I of the U.S. Constitution were removed from the version published on Congress’ official Constitution website. Large parts of Section 8(which outlines the powers of Congress) were deleted, and Sections 9 and 10,

One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears.

They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.

The largest cut to Medicaid in American history. The largest transfer of wealth to the rich in American history. The largest cut to food assistance in American history. The largest increase to the national deficit in American history: That’s what this bill represents. And it has one effect — billionaires win, American families lose. It’s a betrayal of working families masquerading as legislation. If signed into law, this bill will hike electricity bills, leave tens of millions uninsured, cut food assistance for millions more, shutter hundreds of nursing homes, force rural hospitals to close, and send health insurance premiums soaring. The consequences of this bill will be deadly — and Republicans will own every single one. Senate Republicans had a choice: stand with working families or bend to billionaires. They chose greed, cruelty, and a callous disregard for the people they represent. New Mexicans and all Americans will suffer for it. I urge all Americans to raise their voices and call on their elected leaders in the House of Representatives to stop this disaster before it becomes law.

Why are you normalizing Trump’s statements about taking over territory of sovereign nations? The US is not Russia. This is not like the Louisiana Purchase. I’ve been losing respect for CNN for the last year and you are deteriorating as a trusted news source.
