One of my better performing videos in the first 24 hours since April of this year!

I know my content doesn't get the most eyes - its niche, number-y & long - but it has been a struggle to pass 500 within a week of a (mostly Standard) Event recently. Between format & YT changes - happy it's working

My only concern so far has been the different names for Arena/Paper postings. Jumping between content Creators is extremely jarring.

Once it's on the battlefield I don't really care, but it's making me look things up when I read a deck list that's more annoying.

Hi all, I left my tote at the venue yesterday with all of my magic stuff, lost and found don’t have it so if anyone has seen it/found it please reach out! If I don't run it at a store, I need $$$ to rent a space, $$$ to pay TOs, etc

A store provides those, and all you need to pay is a Judge.

Breaking Even on Event not run in a store also means I can't run other Events without having the up front cost :/

I put out a poll on other social media to get an idea of what people would pay for an event.

Unfortunately, it's slightly below the break point. A lot of $20-30 entries, when you'd need $30-40

On top of that, a store needs some form of profit - especially to shut down X% of its space for an Event

I'd love to finance a series of Events, but I'm still making 33%+ less at my current job than my previous one after being unemployed for a year. Going to take a bit before I can solo carry the format in the Bay Area haha

Likewise! But it's going to be hard for my content to spread out between covering pro events & then having most of the gameplay/deck tech analysis be non-professional formats :/

Just really sad the format is being canned for another year. I truly love the format but I might have to adjust my content if no one is going to bother playing/watching

I felt the same about video content. I think it was Walking the Planes? Or something back in the day that touched on this a little bit, but Teams could take a page from Esports Orgs content-wise to leverage what they do normally for an Event as viewer -facing Content.

The Finals @ CardArt was taken down by the Temur Battle deck! Devastating Onslaught on Railway Brawler for over 30 damage was enough to take the win, congrats to Shutao!

We had a Player decline to be on Stream for Semifinals. At CardArt we do not want to force anyone into a situation they are uncomfortable with, so we are waiting until the Finals to broadcast the next match if both Players agree to it!
