They are both great games that have some very similar playstyles and concepts where experience with one absolutely translates to the other, but SWU is way more my cup of tea. The Universes Beyond stuff in MTG really made me lose interest in it entirely, like it's soul got ripped out by greed lol.

I will say that SWU is a significantly better game than MTG to me. But it's opinion.
