Tip - you don't have much line-of-sight blocking terrain around the middle of the board. This can give an advantage to shooting based armies in the earlier turns.

Potentially - more often things like composting wood or plant material under the lawn. Is it a new build with turf put down? The grass could have been grown on very raw compost that was still breaking down.

You must have loads and loads of rotting organic matter in your lawn!

I find with vehicles, even a slight cut mark can prevent a flush join. I often use elastic bands to keep the model together while the glue is setting.

The Year Zero system doesn't do it for me either. Honestly out of all the systems I've played, D&D has the fewest irks.

That's an interesting take. I get hundreds of IMs every day and it's just a flow of conversation. My work is very collaborative though so perhaps that's why it feels normal? If there's a lot of information to pass on I would use an email.

Arguing just seems to dig people deeper into their beliefs. I think part of the challenge is getting people to accept they might be wrong. Something people versed in science ask all the time.

I don't work with HTML but my understanding is that the entity is a byte code for special characters. Two hex digits is a byte, so it maps nicely for a character code.

In what sense? I work as a computer programmer, and having two digits per byte makes it easier to see what's in memory.

Although I now realise the base size is completely wrong so it would have to be a display piece. 🤔
