Science is, in essence, designed to separate the true from the false.

Understanding how falsehoods spread is key to the scientific endeavor. It is not a violation of free speech to be proven wrong.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

This slope is getting slipperier by the day. If I were one of the 13 million permanent residents in the US I’d probably be self-censoring any unpopular opinions, and that’s a much deeper affront to American values than any opinion I could express.
