... that is continuing to provide training in the ERI technique to health workers in the UK and beyond. The aim is to create a lasting legacy of our research: jitsuvaxtraining.com/. In case you are wondering, for a small start-up we are doing well. Keeping fingers crossed.

One inevitable but sad aspect of research funding is that at some point, it's over and it's time to say good-bye to the team and the project. But not in this case! We were fortunate enough to be able to set up a not-for-profit spinout, with the assistance of the University of Bristol, ...

We can move the needle on vaccine uptake using empathy and affirmation followed by refutation of misconceptions. (The MI, the motivational interview works equally well for uptake but the ERI has the edge in self-reports, shown below):

Nice writeup of our now-finished JITSUVAX project: cordis.europa.eu/art... The main output of the project is the empathetic refutational interview...

Hate-filled fake videos about London are everywhere. We've obtained a recording of a TikToker confessing to secretly filming Londoners in their homes for clicks.
He says it's not political. He just wants to make money from far-right anger.
Read what he says: www.londoncentric.media/p/london-tik...
βBe sceptical of peer-reviewed papers,β @DrJBhattachary says, because editors have conflicts (many are professionals), reviews are anonymous (mostly open), and reviewers are selected by editors (on merit and expertise).

An important argument: Internet platforms must be held accountable for their actions, and US attacks against EU transparency and accountability regulations, equating them to "censorship", are ironic given the Trump administrationβs own vast record of censorship.
07.02.2026 17:00 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Probably one of the most important questions facing UK today. Where are all the headbangers who frothed about "sovereignty" whenever someone spoke with a French accent during the Brexit convulsions?

Some really striking numbers in this new survey showing the flip in European public opinion about America.
But bear in mind this is only Western Europe. In Eastern Europe, it has been harder to take the blinders off peoples' eyes.

The fingerprints of Mandelson and his lobbying firm are all over these deals.

NEW: Trump's coup is almost complete. And the attack on the press is a central piece of it. Bezos's gutting of the Washington Post cannot be allowed to be just another blip in the news cycle.
We are all going to have to fight for a free and independent press.

Just how much censorship is the Trump Administration doing? This tracker answers that Q. The results are wildly at odds with the Trump regime and conservatives' long-standing accusations of censorship by, uh, "the left", big tech, the EU, Canada, etc.. trumpcensorship.com ht @lewan.bsky.social

05.02.2026 19:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So where is the censorship if not in the DSA? It's in the USA.
The Trump administration has censored free speech in 236 actions as of today trumpcensorship.com/
Who would have thought.
9/9
That does not mean there aren't reasons to critize the DSA, for example because it does not specify what is harmful content because that's largely left up to the EU member states doi.org/10.1080/1360..., some of whom have stricter rules than others. And that can be problematic.
