multi-format vhs player is officially toast (unless i can fix / replace the motor, which has finally given out on it all together after only being *mostly* inoperable for months). stuck with a shoddy dvd+vhs combo deck for now, which honestly isn't so so bad through the s-video output.

there is nothing this zine could ever publish that would fill me with more dread than its web design. (the header image is also choice for a publication with a no-slasher policy). i do admire the ongoing use of tables in a.d. 2025, however. blue on yellow, all-caps, is also a strong choice.

A flying saucer hovers overhead while a cargo ship sinks into the sea below. To the left the film's title iconography is vertically printed in bold red and green. To the right are printed two further examples of the film's action. In one of the small scenes Gamera and Zigra struggle at the ocean's surface, with Zigra firing a laser beam from its snout and exploding something unseen. In the other Gamera and Zigra are at battle again, this time underwater with a small spherical submarine in attendance.
