I am feeling the tedious. Got them all pressed and gave up after trimming 4 of them. I might just trim a blocks worth at a time and then sew the block, even though it's not as efficient

322 half square triangles that need pressing and trimming. I want to get most of these blocks done this week. It's only 42 blocks, which feels manageable.

this is a massive accomplishment

anyway, if that is incredibly romantic, I'm just going to be over here alone forever.

today I've been to 2 stores to find frixion pens and still haven't found them. why does this town hate me!

i haven't finished over-dyeing those last 2 pieces, but I realized I had enough fabric here and I do still need a backing, so those will just get put in the back. I have 2 piles of scraps that will also be pieced back together for the backing.

patchwork is so very weird. lets cut up perfectly good pieces of fabric so that we can sew it back together in different shapes and call it art. the destruction and remaking fascinates and annoys me, all at once.
