I finally finished hand stitching the binding. This is my favourite scrap quilt I have made. It was fun foraging through my scraps to find coordinating designs and solids for the disappearing four patch blocks. I think I'm going to keep this one, at least until I make one I like more.

I can't get rid of the jeans ($$) and I'm not actually certain which ones are causing it. I don't usually see the holes till after the shirts go through the laundry.

1/2 I've had an issue with little holes in my tshirts lately. Four or five have little holes in the same spot. Research says it's the button on my jeans doing it. My absolute fave shirt succumbed and so I had to get creative. Hopefully this repair lasts. Anyone else have this? How did you fix it?

A small brown raptor with a streaky reddish brown chest and white underparts sits near the top of a thick snow dusted diagonal stick facing the camera with its head turned a bit to the right against a blurred dark gray and white background. Its yellow eye and brown coloring indicates that it is a young bird since adults have gray backs and red eyes.

The same bird has now flipped around on the stick showing its back to the camera with its head still to the right. Its brown back has large white spots that get progressively bigger as they reach its long brown and black striped tail feathers.

This #TalonTuesday, we have a sweet little Sharp-shinned Hawk who landed on top of our wood snag and sent all the little Sparrows and Juncos skittering to the bottom for refuge.

I'm staying at my daughter's house babysitting her cats. I had the worst sleep. So many clicks, ticks and bangs in the night. A number of them were cats cavorting. Others were appliances, furnace, ducting, or pipes, but some were obviously axe murderers climbing out of the toilets.
