2nd quilt finished for my friends TV room. I decided on a touch of the french braid pattern on both sides.
Size: 52.5 inches wide x 70 inches long, perfect for TV watching.
Pattern: Roman Holiday by Fabric Cafe (with borders modified).
ππͺ‘βοΈβοΈπ§΅βοΈβοΈπͺ‘π
The main section is together and the first border on. Iβm going to add 2 more borders, still thinking on the design. I decided against the 4th row, that would have made it too long.
Size: (as is) 40.5 inches wide x 58.5 inches long.
ππͺ‘βοΈβοΈπ§΅βοΈβοΈπͺ‘π
First block together, there will be a total of 8 blocks set into 4 rows. This is for a lap quilt to watch TV so it needs to be longer than a usual lap quilt. The first border will be the green, see pic 2 to get an idea.

Sometimes you need some chain piecing to focus on.
Starting the 2nd quilt for my friends TV room.

Finally got the last border on. It can be difficult to see but I added a bit of green to the left and right side of the border. Just to give it a bit of something different.
Have a sewtastic evening.

Absolutely!!!
Have a sewtastic day!

Solid advice, stay safe and warm.
Have a sewtastic day.

Finished piecing the rows together and added the 1st small border.
Currently working on the last border (3rd pic). This would be a section and not the full border.
This is for a lap/TV quilt so it needs to be longer and not so wide.
πβοΈπͺ‘βοΈπ§΅βοΈπͺ‘βοΈπ
1st 3 rows pieced together. Iβll layout rows 4-6 next and then get everything sewn together. At that point Iβll hopefully figured out the borders. I need to add some width without adding another column. The panel blocks have a little bit of red that sneaks through. Fingers crossed not too much.
22.01.2026 20:59 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 01 of 5 quilts back from the long arm service. For these I used MSQC. Great job with the top stitch and sandwiching. No puckers or bunches.
For this one Iβll use the blue w/white stars for the binding.
Size: 73.5 wide by 86 long
Pattern: Courage from Fabric Cafe (borders changed)

Individual blocks completed for the 1st quilt, now to get them sewn into rows. Iβm adding a 6th row since this will be a lap quilt for their TV room. Iβm still working on (aka thinking about) borders.
Have a sewtastic afternoon.

What a crazy couple of weeks it has been for me. And that will continue for the next few months.
Life takes us in directions we seldom see coming. This is just another path on my journey.
Another quilt cut minus the borders. Pattern on this one Roman Holiday by Fabric Cafe.

Fabric cut for a friendβs quilt. This doesnβt include the borders. Iβll be veering away from the pattern for borders. Possible adding a 6th row to give it some length.

Finished 4 more Santaβs this morning. Great way to start the new year. I tried pastels along with traditional red for the hats.
Pattern by The Ornament Girl, variation of the woven wreath pattern.
Happy New Year!!

Iβve been busy trying to play catch up while I had a few days off. The Santa ornament has been on my to do list for sometime. These 2 I finished this afternoon, only 4 more to go.

Finished this Merry Christmas breadboard sign. It can hang on a door, wall, anywhere or leaned up against something.
This was an another fun project that took time due to the different layers needing to dry.

Merry Christmas Eve from my house to yours.
Iβll be working on my stenciling technique in the new year.

Iβm trying a few new things with my first attempt at wooden coasters.
1st is the obvious, wooden coasters. I usually make them out of fabric.
2nd, random snowflakes as dots, my 1st try at it.
And last a new mod podge made for liquid use.
I think they turned out ok.
πβοΈπ§΅βοΈπ
This was a fun project to put together. Different mediums used on each part, acrylic paint, spray glitter, craft glue and glitter. Took a few days for the drying time. Can be used to hold cards, candies or small treasures.

How fast can the crafting area get cluttered? Faster than I can tell.

Put this snow globe jar decoration together. Takes time with all the drying stages but easy to make in between items.
This was inspired by fellow crafters who make similar snow globe decorations.

A certain someone just got added to the naughty list.

First coat completed. (Except for the box with legs to the top right of the tree)
The tree, bells and star will have both sides painted so it may take a bit.

How many projects can I start at once? lol
My famous last words, I have an idea.
Now to start!
Have a sewtastic crafty day!

The glitter ornaments are finished and they turned out a little better than I expected. The egg shaped ones are blinged out but you really could add as much as you want on any size. Itβs going to be awhile before I can clean up all the glitter.

This week has been filled with experiments with making glitter ornaments. It has been an interesting project.
Several project fails but I think I worked it out.
The pattern is from The Ornament Girl but Iβve had to re-do it. Iβll show the finished product when the hangers arrive.
