In a recent paper in Nature Communications, Dr. Tรกrsilo Girona and Dr. Kyriaki Drymoni claim that their machine learning algorithm can predict upcoming large earthquakes.
We tested the method, and found that it does not work.

I honestly think the maps couldnโt have been produced any other way. Too expensive to map it all on the ground.
