Tonali did the right thing morally by adding a year to his contract to repay us for the lost season due to his ban.

The current version of #NUFC is done. If we finish midtable it’s inevitable our ‘elite’ players will want away.
The hierarchy then have to decide if Howe’s the man to rebuild us.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s regression before we start moving in the right direction again.

Finishing midtable & exiting the cups (as looks likely) is a massive setback.
Our ‘elite’ players (and their agents) won’t want to hang around, so that’s another summer of turmoil and churn.
