Last night Covington KY police violently attacked protestors who were attempting to march across the river. Our community was gathered in solidarity with Imam Ayman Soliman, an asylum seeker who was kidnapped by ICE.

Covington, Kentucky police arrested journalist Madeline Fening, one of my best friends, yesterday for lawfully covering a peaceful protest against ICE's detention of a local children's hospital chaplain. They held her overnight and charged her with a felony.
