My paper is being submitted! My first ever first author scientific journal article paper. Ah! I'm so excited. Hopefully the journal accepts it.

It showed a whole world out there where people accepted you as you were and you could find a family of friends that were like you. Then for JKR to become this raging horrible transphobic person who is preaching against everything the universe she wrote about. I am so disgusted and saddened.

I've been musing about the recent ruling passed in the UK which JKR funded and backed. I found such solace in the Harry Potter series as a young kid who struggled to make friends and relate to other kids. I latched into the HP universe because I felt like it made it okay to be different.

In case I forgot to mention, fuck JK Rowling.

Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.
