Raging Bull legends card

Already brewing up my White Elephant EDH deck for my stores event in December. Last time I built a very strong Jund list and it was the first picked deck. This time I want to not take an easy path.

As someone in the (greater) city, I feel Aftab has so much potential to do great things and I hope this reelection (and others today) gets him to be a little braver to make big moves. Cincy mayor is not a “strong” mayor position but he can still advocate for things.

Should add that all the viral crime/fight video talk coming from Cincy is because of this race, but I don’t think much money was pumped into this hopeless campaign.

Kieran Yanner commented on the post too, apparently that art came from the digital game they had in 2020, but no one really played that so no one noticed. 🤡

Saw an ad for a crowdfunding campaign for a card game with obvious AI art and the one comment on it asked who the artist was and they said “two artists from overseas we will credit them when your campaign goes live” meaning “we haven’t figured out how to lie about it being AI yet”

These kind of things turn me into dust. It’s been over 18 years since Lorwyn released.

Season 2 of Hazbin is great so far but I still feel like it’s trying to be two shows at once, I find the tonal shifts jarring between the incredibly crass juvenile shit and…everything else the show is doing.

No one can ever convince me that new Simpsons episodes are worth watching. I keep seeing the Simpsons Fortnite ads and Bart spraypaints Fortnite to say Fartnite, but like, the Bart I know would change it to Bartnite, because uhh the Simpsons isn’t about fart jokes.

Don’t worry ninja turtles has the same treatment for their bonus sheet! 🤡 People gave tons of negative feedback on the FF one but they clearly hard committed and it’s hard to tell what set is the first they can pivot away from it on. Hopefully the next marvel? Hopefully?

The original countdown retails for 270 if you buy the singles. (Not even factoring you get like 5+ foil) Consultation’s one other lair is triple the cost of the normal card. The prices are hard to predict, but I honestly am not worried about the ev one bit.

And tbh for that one it was “we know chrome mox is in it, who cares about the rest”. We know about a chrome mox in card value so far, but probably need one more big one to justify 200 for most people.

I don’t remember what they did with the last countdown, I tried to not spoil myself and want to try to do it as much as I can with this one too.

It’s been well over a year and a half since Karlov Manor came out and I’m still waiting on reprints of the surveil lands. We got shocklands in standard, fine, but some of the surveil lands are pricier than fetch lands right now. 🫠

Yeah the secret lair countdown is 200 bucks but I’ll actually use it, unlike this box box deluxe board game I bought for 200 dollars that I’ll probably never get to the table 🫠

I ate this exclusively at Wendy’s while they were available. College fast food of choice.

Korra is a great show but the way it did most of the ATLA’s characters dirty is rough. Would the show have been better if it wasn’t constantly reminding you of the other show? I can’t imagine the new Avatar show is going to lean as heavily on Korra characters as Korra did.

Nothing is as much of a measure of the fall off of quality of the Simpsons as the treehouse of horror episodes.

Is anyone else kind of floored that they did the same bonus sheet frame treatment for four UB sets in a row? And the problems with the frame were evident for the first se that did it. :/ Hopefully none of these are blurry like in FF, but uhhh text going over the image is awfullll

This card really proves the failure of this frame treatment. Why pick this image and then put text over half of it?

Updated this list a little bit today. Still think it needs a little more to feel more fun and not like “my commander surrounded by a pile of cards that enable my commander”.

I honestly feel like Jund is the color combo that can always execute on what it wants to do. I’ve never been disappointed in how a jund list of mine turned out. Glad you are enjoying your list so much!

I think it can’t really be overstated how much of a draw it was to play sol ring in the early days (before precons) of commander. I had 3-4 decks back when I had to shell out 15 bucks or so on every sol ring. (And wheel of fortune was 5 bucks 🤡)

Yeah up is harder.

Just a little reminder that we haven’t really seen a big push of hybrid cards since Shadowmoor. We have seen one or two here and there, but we have quite a few incoming it seems. I think that alone is a huge factor in thinking about this change. Seems inevitable now.

I just bought a foil of it for a silly little commander deck I’m making for a store event. It’s good!

I don’t think I’ve done it since the mtgsalvation days but I would really like to post some of my commander decks for discussion on how to make them better. I’m trying to figure out Joshua and really struggling with Y’shtola.

Commander really started taking off when Shadowmoor came out, at least from my perspective. With a return to Lorwyn & surrounding sets having much more hybrid than usual, it tracks that they would pose this question to people. With the current cards it affects, not compelling to change it for me.
