I love reading good history/historical analysis, etc, and here's a good piece, worth reading.

Our local dem club is eager for anyone willing to show up and do the work. It really does not take that many people to shift the platform.

It also struggles to find people to run for city council, school boards, and other elected positions that get you the connections for higher offices.

Update: Looks like the peeps I know at JPL didn't get fired, but teams have been gutted and the people who are left are going to have to figure out how the hell to do what they do without the necessary staff that are now gone.
