Looks amazing Nico!
19.07.2025 11:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hey Alexander, do you recommend using even just for the alien signals?
19.07.2025 11:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So I have been building (and almost finished for launch π) observerly. An all in one astronomical observation platform, with the ability to live control telescopes around the world. Including your own! Drop me a DM or message if youβre interested in beta testing!
19.07.2025 11:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Obscene ideas are injected into public life with "humour" ... and then enacted. My column this week is pegged to the recent calls in the Spectator to murder people at Glastonbury, and on GB News to starve and shoot disabled people.
You could call it wink murder.

Across the entire planet, from Ireland to Costa Rica, livestock farming has been an utter catastrophe for forests and other natural habitats, replacing unimaginably species-rich ecosystems with sterile cattle or sheep pastures.
How we eat is killing life on Earth π
a few words that I think are important to say on diversity, equity and inclusion in open source (and more generally)

The median average senior software engineerβs salary in the UK is Β£70K, this is priced above that. Also, not a good look to be brazenly prejudiced and openly racist against developers in India. Please donβt interact with me again.
14.12.2024 22:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm looking for a freelance Vue & TypeScript developer to join the observerly team to build the next generation of astronomy applications, if you think you would fit the bill and love all things space π please apply:

A picture of the earth showing the pacific ocean. You can see hawaii and New Zealand. Also the edge of antarctica, australia, and north and south america...but barely.
Itβs interesting that the emojis show the earth from three angles π π π but not the fourth.
Though π΅ is a fair approximation of what it would look like.
People underestimate the Pacific.
Only added very recently by Vue 3.5 :)
30.11.2024 08:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I would pay good money for this. Iβve been doing Vue for years but feel like I am terrible at building design systems. ππ€¦ββοΈ
25.11.2024 14:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Does anyone in the Vue ecosystem know what the status is for Vue vapor mode? Patiently excited :)
21.11.2024 11:58 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Good to see the faked astronomy image accounts on here, feels like an authentic social media platform now. π
21.11.2024 11:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No worries at all. I canβt seem to find any regressions either. Looks good.
21.11.2024 11:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ok, so for a pretty decent production application I have, on Vue 3, there seems that build output size is slightly improved :) and, interestingly, memory consumption has gone from ~80MB down to ~45-60MB. (However, could be because Iβve gone from v10 to v12)
21.11.2024 10:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Appreciated :) thanks Filip, Robβs great. Check out his work!

Iβm finding myself going to BlueSky now over Twitter, I really hope we can dip Twitter to a point where it reigns in a certain manβs ego.
