Warren warned us about Summers a long time ago. Nobody seemed to care enough back then. She must feel a certain sense of vindication these days.

Raskin is also an accomplished Constitutional scholar and has been teaching Constitutional law for many years. The Democratic Party could use more like him bc knowledge is power and the Heritage Society/Foundation has been eating their lunch for years now.

My takeaway from this piece is that candidate quality matters and in an off year election likely to favor Democrats, this new district is theirs to win or lose. 🤷‍♂️

He’s also counting on MAGA to fall in line and swallow the new con hook line and sinker.

My husband grew up in Salt Lake City, which has a separate and distinct urban character from much of the rural rest of the state. The Republican obsession with carving up the city and dumping it in 4 separate CDs to dilute its vote is tyranny and the court rightly recognized that reality.
