From day to day I feel like I'm becoming more insane the further it goes. Is it the world? Is it myself? Am I too aware? Can I not relax enough? This insanity is tiring to the point it affects everything.

I'm using youtube on TV. They f-ed up the subscription page. Now the first results are not in chronological order but a random selection of videos not watched from the subscriptions that may be older. Below that it's normal (except shorts of course). I want it back now. This shit is not convenience.

Not that I was panicking but I am relieved that my car is fully operational without any defects. I had to give it to the mandatory inspection that has to happen every two years to a certified garage. At the same time I let the garage change my oil. Everything costs me 310€.

I could puke. I ordered two Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W from an official seller. I put an order 6 weeks ago. Still not arrived. The seller says it'll arrive in 2 weeks. When I originally ordered they said on their site it'll take 2-3 weeks. I hate the world.

I have split my finger nail and I used clear nail polish to glue it together and make a smooth surface so I don't snag at something and make it worse. I hate the smell of nail polish. I hate the pulling sensation on the finger nail from the cured nail polish. How do people live with this regularly?

Someone has put old furniture and other stuff at my street. I yanked about 16 0.5m long metal tubes. I don't know what I'm going to use them for but I'm cursed with being able to craft something. Probably something for propping up beans or gherkins. It's freeing to make something out of trash.

Also what's up with the stupid custom from some projects that have a header of 20-30 lines of copyright text in every single file? Any time I need to look into this wall of text that has no real purpose besides being obnoxiously verbose disrupts my work. Put legalese in one document ant that's it!

I was forced to clone a github project that uses java. I already use a folder in the root of my drive and yet THE FILE NAME PATH WAS TOO LONG!!!! I really HATE Java. It's of course a Windows problem but come on. You don't need that many folders and the file names can be shortened.

I LOVE unmaintained software libraries. At work I'm using a SDK for dotnet and its last commit was a year ago and not really actively developed. In the meanwhile Java and Python get almost daily activity. And I'm sitting here shouting explicit words seeing it not working using the simplest examples.

Recently I bought a double-walled glass flask to drink tea from. It has a silicone sleeve as a grip and it has embossed text. It really irked me that it was on both sides that it was impossible to not touch it. I had to use a razor blade to cut off the text that is 1mm in height. Stupid branding.

How I love JSON and deserialization. Debugged for days only to find out that a POST REST request with an empty JSON array makes the library I use throw an exception because it turns into null instead of an object. I used for my tests an empty object {} and it worked fine.

The tomato season has begun. I sowed my seed and just watered everything. Additionally to that I had a smaller greenhouse thingy and put some radishes in there. Most of what I sowed are Black Prince tomatoes. The rest are Marmande, Arancia, Black Krim, Adora, Jolie Cœur, Roma and a few random kinds.

Today I had to make a new hole in my belt to make it smaller.

I made 140 reusable dry-erase mini plant tags for the upcoming tomato sowing madness. I've cut blank white plastic credit card sized cards into 1'' x 5/8'' pieces. They are put into a simple 3D-printed frame where the cut pieces clip in and are easily replaceable.

Been re-spooling 2 1kg spools by hand today because I have ordered a rather cheap-ish 5kg spool without thinking. It's a little bit of arm training before going to bed. Strangely relaxing monotone activity.

Watched again Kung-Fu Hustle after a long time. Not bad but my taste has shifted. It is awesome in parts but the second half is rather boring. The film peaks at the first fight with the three masters against the hatchet gang and everything after that slowly drizzles out.

Once again I have to rant about configuration files. I really hate them. No checks on build-time. Just runtime crashes with no or less helpful error messages. It's the bane of my existence that suck my life out of my body.

I've completely DM'd myself into a corner I couldn't get out of. My players have effectively stopped the cult by storing the McGuffins to a bank into a magically protected and un-scry-able box. Anything to reverse that is a dick move. We decided to continue with one-shot adventures in the same world

It's dreadful to see the utilities bill and witness the rise of costs in all departments.

I really *love* when Roll20 crashes when trying to snap windows and doors onto the grid because the end points snap onto the same position. Seriously. Divide by zero crashes are embarrassing.

I was curious and looked up what other users say about the longevity of silicone socks... only 100 hours? Pathetic. On my Ender 3 printers I had that lasted at least 800 hours.

Today an original E3D silicone sock crumbled away and caused my 3D printer to layer shift as the crumbled silicone part blocked the travel path. The sock had a lifetime of about 300 hours @ 240°C. I thought they were more resilient to these higher temperatures.

Just looked into the Android app settings for battery use and hope that the toggle for unrestricted background process usage for the Prusa app solves that.

I really wish Prusa Connect notifications on Android were more timely. I have literally received a notification 50 minutes after the print finished and 30 minutes after the next print on the same printer started.

I'd call me proficient enough to handle Linux as a user of about 20 years and not stupid to follow instructions. For some reason manually adding a new user on a RPi Zero2W via userconf.txt on BootFS did nothing. Luckily the default user worked and ssh'd and did it traditionally. Lost so much time.

I've watched "Cosmic Princess Kaguya!" on Netflix. It has some nice vibes but the plot is brain dead. It tries to be clever but doing so it is hand-waving so many things that put too many questions into my head that everything falls apart.

I have a large pile of clay desiccant from all the 3D printer filament and I'm thinking about mixing the clay into the soil of my plants to hold moisture. It's not a lot but it should be enough for a big row of parsley and chives and alike. It can't hurt, or? The silica gel packs are sorted out.

Great! The last D-Link DIR-615 died boot-looping. 4 out of 4 dead. There is no way I'm investing any time diagnosing any further. I paid about 5-10€ for each. They'll get a new home at the electronics recycling station. Never had hardware that was so consistent in dying.

Even I have luck from time to time. I won an auction for a wireless access point for 1€! It's a Netgear WAC104. Nobody wants such obsolete hardware. I hope the installation and setup of OpenWRT will go smoothly.

It's funny to me that reviews to cereal storage boxes are invaded by people who use them as filament storage. Coincidentally I want to use such a container to store my filament. I use the resealable bags when I bought the filament but I'm slowly annoyed closing them and some have holes from wrinkles
