Saying "AI" was "trained" on the work of artists and writers is the wrong metaphor. Their work was made into a database to be copied from and reproduced in small chunks.
There is no mind learning or being trained. There is no "intelligence" in that reproduction There's plenty of artificial, tho.

I really admire people that are able to work on things at a consistent pace, marathon-like level rather than a series of eternal sprints and rests.
I mean, I donโt understand it, but I admire it.

I made a joke about a kid falling back in time and becoming his own grandfather and this show is so ridiculous TB is now considering whether that might be a spoiler, I hate this.

Weโve limited ourselves to only two streaming services per year which means we tend to try out a lot of shows we would normally ignore. Sometimes you find gems.
Sometimes you find La Brea (I hate this show so much but TB is into it now, save me).

If your development process doesnโt include โhow could this be misusedโ and coming up with ways to mitigate the harms, youโre doing it wrong.

So far my visits to DC have included Indian, Salvadoran, Greek, Georgian, Afghan, Palestinian, Ethiopian, Italian, Peruvian, Japanese, and French foods (plus a Korean bakery).
What new things should I eat? Recs within easy walking or metroing from DuPont would be ideal.

Even if no one in the development process predicted this (how), tech experts, privacy experts, ethicists, etc. have been waving this red flag like weโre in a damn parade, you have an obligation to build in some damn safeguards or own that your product is dangerous.

AI expert warns against telling your secrets to chatbots such as ChatGPT
Prof Mike Wooldridge will address looming questions around AI in this yearโs Royal Institution Christmas lectures
โโyou should assume that anything you type into ChatGPT is just going to be fed directly into future versions of ChatGPTโ. And if on reflection you decide you have revealed too much to ChatGPT, retractions are not really an option.โ www.theguardian.com/technology/2...
