It’s Japan, where are all the people!

I’ve just come from Garden Club and the drizzle is only very light and sporadic here so it made gardening really comfortable. You might have to try and squeeze some gardening in tomorrow before the hot weather on Sunday and the rain for the rest of the week.

I’m so sorry. It’s always distressing when you have to clear out belongings so soon after your loved one’s death, but to find that they have been betrayed by the very people who were entrusted with their care, there are no words to describe this cruel betrayal.

Husband is a firefighter and has rescued dogs out of drains, cats out of walls and not long ago, a macaw out of a street tree! Always a happy story after a successful rescue.

Raising the rate allowing people to live above the poverty line. Dental in Medicare. Public schools. Why are we giving our gas away for free, allowing those overseas to profit from our resources. At least use it to subsidise Aussie gas bills. Our politicians need to work harder for us.

They can be easily fooled. I wonder if it’s best to visibly but vaguely pander and at the same time work really hard to extricate yourself from ties that bind. I think we need to be the duck looking calm & serene on top but paddling like hell under water to forge those new treaties and alliances.

Failed with too many options yesterday. Whenever there are options it seems that I always pick the wrong ones. See above!!

I must say that we like some of our salads to have weight too so I often use leaves & roasted pumpkin (with feta), leaves & cooked beetroot (+ feta) Greek salad (+ feta) …..I guess I’m just looking forward to eating feta!! Oh and Mexican style salads with lots of beans & corn. Potato salad too. 🍽️

Absolutely! We had asparagus soup, I’ll leave the salads until Sunday (Am looking forward to them though!)

Truly shite! Why was it necessary to tinker with (demolish!!) what was universally accepted as fully functional and meeting the needs of the millions of users who visited more than daily.
